Advertising Avenue, Cadbury World, Birmingham UK
We're celebrating Cadbury's 200th anniversary this year, and we couldn't be prouder to be part of their incredible history.
Our director, Sandy White, found this project particularly memorable during her time at RMA (partly due to the amount of Creme Eggs consumed). The project involved revamping the retail area and creating Advertising Avenue.
The Avenue was designed to take visitors on a journey through the history of Cadbury's advertising campaigns, becoming the 14th zone to open at the attraction. Crafted to feel like a world made of chocolate, with chocolate-themed trees and walls lining the route, the Avenue's immersive design allowed visitors to feel as though they were stepping into a world inspired by the magic of Cadbury.
Along the route, visitors could explore a collection of posters dating back as far as the early 20th century, each one offering a glimpse into the evolution of Cadbury's advertising over the years. These posters provided a visual narrative that highlighted the brand's creative journey and its impact on popular culture.
The experience concluded with an encounter with the iconic Cadbury gorilla, a nod to one of the brand's most memorable advertising campaigns. This final touch created a perfect blend of nostalgia and modernity, celebrating Cadbury's rich heritage while connecting it to its contemporary presence.
